Now that we're back from a great few weeks away in Sri Lanka, I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your efforts a few weeks ago. From the packed dance floor all night I can safely say, and hope you'd agree, that people loved the tunes!

I was generally very impressed with your set up and was especially grateful for the assistance you offered to Ron and his band.

Thank you for essentially sticking to the play list and for choosing some cracking tunes off the play list. My only slight regret is that I didn't ban requests and so could have saved myself the shame of the "Ice, Ice Baby" display! At least the video chap had gone back home by then so there is no lasting record!

I would firstly like to thank you personally for the music at the disco on my wedding night it was exactly what we wanted. It was a good mix for all ages and everyone really enjoyed themselves which is the most important thing.

My whole wedding at Headlam was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The professionalism of Headlam staff and yourself made the whole day run smoothly. I particularly liked how you got me and my husband over to discuss what the plan for the evening reception was going to be it made us feel very involved and we understood what was happening and this was also a perfect time to ask for certain songs etc.

I also would say the communication before the wedding through e-mails put my mind at ease as we were able to have a say in the music for the night and I knew there would be no surprises.

Clients should be aware that the request for 'The Can-Can' came from one of the guests and I spoke to the bride and groom before playing that particular song.  It is not usually a style of music I would naturally play or include in my selections, but the couple authorised the use of that song as it was a request from one of their guests.

Over the years have have taken an active part in compering and providing some of the entertainment for many charity events.  I was hired by Mrs Clarke to take charge of the evening of fundraising at The George Hotel on the 27th June 2008.  I also have a journalistic background (please see the About Me section for more information) and I offered to help with press releases and used my contacts in the industry to get as much publicity as possible before and after the charity event.

With my assistance, we arranged for the local media to come out and interview Steven Fuller, who was diagnosed with the cancer, Non Hodgkin Lymphoma.  The Fuller and Clarke families spent a lot of time organising a wonderful night of fundraising, great entertainment, excellent food and good company.  In fact, the function was a complete sell-out and demand for tickets was very high.

The organisers said that if there was more room at the venue, they could have easily doubled the number of tickets sold.  The event was a magnificent success and more than £5,000 was raised through various fundraising activities.  All the money raised from the event went to cancer services in the region.

Mrs Clarke was more than happy to book me as I also presided over her wedding reception disco a couple of years ago.  There was no hesitation in hiring me as she knew that I aim to provide the highest levels of service possible.
